Founded in 2016, Boulder Excavation has grown from the soils of Vermont. Owner, Josh Allaire, started running equipment on the family farm as soon as he could reach the controls. Through farming, he learned the nuance of earth work, the art of operating machines, and the joy of working in concert with temperamental New England weather. Mentored by a grandfather who had a keen ability to prioritize community connection while providing a needed service, Josh maintains a relationship-first approach to project planning and completion.
With an eye for landscapes developed from countless hours of mountain biking and backcountry skiing, Josh brings an organic ability to create landscapes which complement the natural surroundings.
